I haven’t the slightest idea, as I got mine here in the US at Wal-Mart. They are real cheap though for one this size. It’s perfect for a 20 oz Porterhouse when the temperature is ridiculously low 😎
I’ll order some material through McMaster-Carr and make one to suit our fireplace , I figure that a platform cut to the size of the firegrate and legs to locate on the grate should be ok . It’s really just an excuse to burn coal – I’m a reformed pyromaniac 😀 😀

Yes, quite amusing rhetoric, at least it would be if it wasn’t meant seriously.
Good point Shorty , some of the pages are horrific in content and it is mind boggling that this guy is responsible for the death of thousands of his own people , sells hard drugs though diplomatic channels and even threatens to fire missiles in order to get international aid . Needless to say his human rights record is non-existant . Hard to believe that his is all happening right now and nobody is trying to intervene .

That’s some site Alastair – the Dear Leaders minions calling Japanese militarists! I’m not sure what they mean when they say the Japanese have armed their C-130’s. Maybe the Japanese put ecm or elint gear on them?? It’s a good question.Paranioa central, the North Korean regime think the whole world is out to get them, except China, and even that’s not so certain with them. I’m sure those pictures of Saddam looking like a sidewalk meths drinker after he was hunted down have got them worried. I wonder what Kim Il Sung would look like if he didnt shave or cut his hair for 8 months and hid in pit?
Tis a good site , some of the links are horrific – and the level of control Kim Jong Il has over media and information is astounding . The guy is absolutely nuts !!! . Nice hairdo too , I thought the Beehive look died in the 60’s ?? and platform shoes died in the 70’s ?? , I think this guy is a bigger threat to world peace than Saddam ever was .

I’ve done bbq’s by torchlight during rainstorms in January. I LOVE bbq food.
Been there !! , BBQ in the garage with snow blowing around outside , I HATE BBQ food , but it’s worth it for the drinking involved . Woke up next morning to find that we had removed my shed door and broke it up so we could light a fire in a wheelbarrow – just to keep us warm . Best thing about BBQ’s is the lack of house tiding in the morning , you just throw all of the disposables in your neighbours bin .:)

Been stabbed in the leg with a standard black BIC Biro , can confirm that it was a breeze to get it out , that baby just SLID out , they must be sterile as there was no infection and that wound site scabbed up clean as a whistle . A top notch stab wound . Compare that experience to being stabbed in the same leg with a Stanley knife – wound site would not dry up , infection set in and was on antibiotics for ages , definately an inferior stabbing tool compared to the BIC Biro . If two people dive at you with these tools jump the guy with the Stanley blade first , the Biro wound site will be fine , but just don’t let the Stanley anywhere near you .
Been shot in the same leg , in the same year . 😉

May I make it four…? 😉I went up to Binbrook one day while they were filming up there, beautiful hot summers day it was. I managed to get a few shots on old soggy film, and one of them came out with all five B17’s airborne in it. I’ll get up in the loft tomorrow and see if I can find it. The quality’s not so good, but they’re there. 🙂
Editted to add… Come to think of it, I think one of them crashed on landing a few days later. One of the two French ones wasn’t it?
Steve , our paths must have crossed down there !! , I took my future wife on our first ever holiday down to Skegness , we spent most of our time visiting the BBMF , Newark Air Museum and at Binbrook . We saw the smoke when the French B-17 went in – but we assumed that it was the fire crews practicing , wasn’t till later we found that the French B-17 had burned.
We spotted the 5 B-17 formation several times , truly awesome , we went to the BBMF several time and stood at the fence as 474 taxied in , and watched one of the Spitfires fly for the first time after being re-engined with an ex-Shackleton Griffon ( anybody know which one this was ??)
