on elittle nasty that sometimes comes up in the net is that ******* of the sea, the weever fish. Do not, whatever you do, let the dorsal spine prick you. That is seriously bad news. I get them out of the net without touching them, slaughter them, cut the spines off, and ditch them over the side. Nasty little things to touch they are.
Hey , I caught one of them in Kinlochourn Bay !!! , are they wee reddy *******s ?? , I caught on on Mackerel feathers and swung it into our open rowing boat , never seen so many people trying to jump overboard at the one time !!! , erm well I have actually but that involved 9 Brits , 2 Thai’s and a shark – they never told us it had to be dead before gaffing it on board , my mate Howard swung it onto the boat in one easy move and it went berzerk for some reason , took 4 of us 20mins to beat it to death with the oars.
