I can remember driving through Elgin , there was a scrappies actually in the town and it was piled high with cut up Buccaneers and bits of Shack – I went back ages later but the site had been sold for development and it had all gone 🙁

I reckon Snapper and EN830 should be given a thread of their own , their Monty Pythonesque humour is fcuking hilarious , I’m supposed to be working but keep sneaking back to the Forum to catch up on their bizarre humour ( between them and the game that Moggy C has posted on the Forum I’ve done absolutely NO work tonight )

Yup , she is still up there , her C of A expired in in 1998 and she is up for sale – although she hasn’t been advertised anywhere – she is stuck right at the back R/H/S of the Para Club hangar under tarpaulins , I got her registration details from G-INFO , brassed my case and phoned up the Para Club , I have written a letter to the address for Sir William Roberts given on G-INFO to ask if there is any chance of dragging her out for a photo – might as well try !! , nothing ventured nothing gained !!

If you had the power to reunite bands ( and revive the dead !! ) which 6 band would you choose for your own personal Festival Lineup ??

1)The Sisters of Mercy
2)The Pixies
3)Spear of Destiny
4)The Stranglers
5)Rammstein
6) The Smiths

Bit of an eclectic mix but , hey it’s my festival !!!!!

I watched U2 supporting Stiff Little Fingers at Nightmoves in Glasgow in 1981 at the grand age of 13 ( I think ) then I got a ticket to see U2 on the War tour and sold my ticket in the queue for £11 !! , regretted it ever since.

Good stuff !!!! , I’ve had a rake through some of my old ticket stubs and found some really sad stuff – how about Bon Jovi supporting Kiss at the Edinburgh Playhouse in 1981 , Bon Jovi supported by Ratt an 1982 , numerous Ozzy stubs – I should be ashamed but I was a stupid young naive schoolboy at the time .:( 🙁

Oh, The Wedding Present, saw them at the Barras about ’92 I think, Buffalo Tom were the support. Brassneck and Oh Why Do You, also helped me wear out the soles of my DM’s at Paisley Tech Union on a friday/saturday nights early 90’s ! 😀

I’m still wearing DM’s !! , old fashioned but still damn comfy !!!!!!!!
