The airline is owned by a group called InterGlobe. InterGlobe has bought all seats from BA, Virgin, Cathay etc. for the next 5 years. The group had placed an order for a 100 A320s at Paris last year i think.

Could this loss for Airbus be attributed more to concerns about the A350 redesign…the delays in the A380…or a combination of both?

Although the frustration of A380 delays are there, and even though SQ did say it might keep the A350/A370 in consideration, it would just narrow down to Airbus not having a framework on the new plane yet.

There were some floating news that PIA was not very happy with there ER’s. But no follow up to that came up. Other than that they seem quite happy with them.

No we didn’t.

We missed a Jet Airways A340 by 15 mins on Saturday. :diablo:

it looks like the Lufthansa 70’s livery…

true..probably inspired as LH gave alot of technical support to 9W during the early nineties. 🙂

Well they already have 777s on order, as the article says they want to level there ratio of leased and owned aircraft. So i am guessing there is a big 737 order lurking around for Boeing from 9W.
