I think LH has just fitted in PTV in Economy class, but I am 100% sure. Just write LH for details. They always answer. I called them four times.
-Complain for a conection…..they sent me a LH watch with excuses
-Ask about information of B747-400 wiring (after TW800)…..a pilot called me to explain me the point.
-My girlfriend was affraid of flying and I make it know……..at the departure lounge, she was called and driven to the cockpit, were she stayed for take off.
-Suggestion about menus…….they sent me a LH pencil with explanation.
For me they are a bit dull, but germanly efficient.

I had some problems with Justplanes/World Air Routes with the old VHS videos at Christmas. I ordered Cuba and Heathrow videos yet did not realise that because they were sourcing them out they only had videos that worked on American systems left, not PAL. Stupid me, the video got eaten 😡
The Aurigny DVD looks good, when I get a DVD player I must order it.
u don need a DVD player…u can run it on ur computer!
And over last few years over 1.5 million have died in Congo.

To say that Virgin is not a class airline is flat out ludicrous. I’ve never flown them, but their reputation from those who have flown them speaks for itself. I’ve flown Singapore and I don’t think they’d invest in 49% stake in some schmuck airline. Saab, I agree with your take on Virgin 100%. Ditto on Kev’s take on Concorde, you pretty much took the words out of my mouth. Mongu, I typically agree with everything you say, with few exceptions. You didn’t disappoint here either. I’ll throw my own 2 cents in here, no pun intended. So Branson offered one lousy pound, big deal? Is it a gimmick? No. Is he getting publicity from it? Probably. Does he think anyone, let alone BA, will take him seriously? Probably not. That’s just Branson. This from a man who drove a tank across the Harbour Bridge in Sydney to celebrate the start-up of Virgin Blue. He may come across as cocky at times, but so what? In today’s society it’s good for a high profile figure, and CEO of an energetic, innovative company to have some personality. Does that mean that his company and his person have any less class than British Airways? God, I hope not! As far as “insulting” and showing “more respect to the grand flying lady;” please gentlemen, are we talking about a form of transportation or Queen Elizabeth, here?
On some points…..when u said “This is Banson”…thats exactly where i put my foot down on his publicity stunts…driving a tank on Sydney bridge, doing a elepehen publicity stunt in Delhi…..maybe people like it or find it amusing…i think he himself is forgetting hes a CEO of a respected airline….not a clown.
In todays society if you say its good for high profile figure, i counter that maintaining a high profile with sofistication is much beter that going around the world and doing weired publicity gimics.

did you see him going down from the plane as a Maraha in the first flight to India?. I think he made another show when BA refuse to let him in for a overbooking.
ya i did…cant stop laughin at it till this day.
The airport on monsters pic is Narita.
I am not talkin about what BA has and what Virgin has…i am taking about the airliens attitude and style of publicity and marketing.
And i also agree on ur not seeing Mr Bransons market gimics as very good….. in my eyes it doesent make Virgin a class airline. Thats why Virgin is way behind BA, because BA is class!

Kabir, I was going to say the same thing. Mr Branson, More respect to the grand flying lady. I don´t enjoy some of your theatrical shows. Not this time. The Concorde retirement is something too sad to make oportunistic comments.
totally agreed with u there sir!
enjoy ur trip…lookin forward too ur flight reports!:)
