Is like all these men’s magazines where you vote for the world’s sexiest woman based on the results from a UK survey with it not counting for much?Who exactly decides which airline is put which position? Is it an international decision?
They get there committee members on flights on airlines and they submit reviews, general public opinion is also taken seriosuly, profits, management, crew training, ground handling etc etc. count. Its not a small procedure.

Dont want to spoil your trip but i flew with Thai last year and they were garbage.Whilst the seat pitch as said above is very good the rest of the service was very poor on both o/b and i/b sectors. On the way out we departed around 13.00Z from Heathrow to Bangkock. We were served a meal which was ok and then a drink. No problem there. After that we were told that all window blinds had to be shut as people needed to sleep ??? Sorry but at around 16.00z none of the passengers were ready to sleep at this time.To me it seemed that the crew were on minimum rest on their layover and tired so they just wanted a peaceful cabin and get off to the crew bunks.Fair enough on a night flight but not in the middle of the afternoon. And to top all that off only one film was shown on a 12 hour flight.Might be diffrent now but it it was a hell of a long day for me and the mrs.Theres a lot more but i dont want to babble on.Regards,
Lyndon.
agreed….i too did Thai not long back on DEL-BKK sector…although wont say they were garbage but not to the expectations i was expecting.
i like it.
Emirates was winning it for past 3 years!
