RE: MyTravel Airways
Well…..i have to agree SOFTLAD…this was a positive point in the current situation.
RE: Biggest aircraft
Well….the Hughes’s spruce goose just flew once….so it cant be compared with the An 225 as it flys at regular basis. But it did have a larger wingspan than of the An 225. Well….of course Russians have never made more elegent looking aircrafts than Boeing or Airbus in commercial aviation sector. Although i really like the looks of the Il-62M, just the looks.
RE: Confirmation about a pic
damn…i’ll post it later guys..its not working right now…:)
RE: Picture of the day 06/12/01
great pic man….i’ll take 5;-)
RE: Vampire Flies!
I am not sure Snoopy…because i have heard one of HAL Ajeets will also take to the skies soon. IAF if having the International Air Display might be planning to bring on some of the classic fleet in. I will get back to this as soon aspossible with details.
RE: virgin
Well…i think Virgin is not suffering as bad as other airlines. Really havent heard much of them that they are going bad….not sure though!
RE: Vampire Flies!
Yes it indeed was great news…..it was from the IAF Vintage Fleet. Sadly i did not get to see it….but i did meet all the journalists who did see it….they were real excited about seeing the Vampire fly. As soon as they send me the pic….i’ll post it here.
RE: Airline food
Exactly…..rarely airlines charge money for drinks. Kampuchean Airlines dose…as they are in need of money…no one else in my knowledge.
RE: Gladiators at Kjeller, Norway
interesting….can the location of the shot be Bodo in northern Norway?.
RE: Vampire Flies!
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-12-01 AT 03:58 PM (GMT)]Not a chance…..the Vampire is not being brought back into service. It was flown because of some reporters from USA, Germany and France had come to make a documentry on the Classic jets with the IAF. Although it was a great site to see….this bird with the Gnat were the plus points in the 1971 war with Pakistan. Well i am mainly into Commercial Aviation…but also am very interested in classic aircrafts. Here is a pic of the Gnat taken at Ambala AFB in Northern India in 1966.

RE: Picture of the day 01/12/01
nice one(again)….is it a special or an AARGOS jet…the nose is a little bit oversized than usual?
RE: MyTravel Airways
Yea…the name sounds a little childish…should have been more mature and catchy. Colours are fine….not too exciting.
RE: BA colours
i agree with Rabie…the old one was good but needed updating. Although i find the new one more lively and better.
RE: LHR Green plane
The Delhi one was only supposed to have a little fire inside the seating area….it was not one of those which are burnt whole.
RE: Avro Shutdown!
Yes…the wing devision is still un-affected.
