    I dunno, i find the A300 a little on the uncomfortable side. I have only travelled in Indian Airlines A300. They are quite old.

    Well its like this, people who bored the plane may look like reall hard workin people, but when they start drinking there is no stooping them. This was experienced by me on my way to Copenhagen on a SAS flight. A person drank too much and then started to shout and abuse everyone. The captain was called and a real like drama took place, and after landing that man was arrested. This is common on BA flight from India, Pakistan, Thailand, Africa etc.

    According to Financial Times, it is movin because it needed a headquater at a more centeral location, so that delevries can be made easily.

    My most horrifyin experience was in an Indian Airlines A320, when it entered a C-Cloud formation and had a free fall. The free fall was for around 10,000 ft. We were being served lunch at that time and everythin went strait up to the roof including the air-hostess and a few more people. This was the most horrifying experience yet.

    Interesting post, for me its the Airbus 340 all the way followed by the 747-400 and then the MD-11. A340 is a magnificent aircraft, comfortable in Economy and very much in business class.And about the 747-400, its a great aircraft only it depends what airline you flying with. Some airlines put the 747 to its full seating capacity like BA which make too crowded. The MD-11 ofcource is great and very comfy especially in economy class. I also travelled with Swissair on the MD-11, A340 of SIA and 747-400 of SIA, Cathay, United, BA etc. For me A340 all the way, wonderful plane.

    SAS are gonna do Oslo-London with a A340. Its there policy, 1st 6 months the new jets fly only over land before starting laung haul flights over the sea.

    There is no EASY way of becoming a pilot, becoming a pilot takes alot of determination and hard work. Especially with Lufthansa and BA, they are hard people in choosin pilots. As they are strict in safety.

    Air NewZeland is a TERRIBLE airline. I flew them Auckland-Mel and it was horrible. I wonder if some one flew with them on a long haul, what would become of him.

    looks go secondry, i totally agree, 4 engines better than to especially flights over the Atlantic or the Pacific. But the main drawback of the 767-400 is old parts from the 767-200ER. Old CT-100 navi. systemetc. Thats what makes it good for nothing.

    hehe Keltic, so you hate Military Aviation eh. Well I am a total aviation freak, have a little interest in Military, but Civil is my LOVE.
