Considering the number of people that surrounded the wreckage almost immediately after the crash, is it possible that the box has ‘walked’?

now confirmed that the Black Box has been secured by the investigators.
some sources still claiming that its been found. No official word yet. I would have thought it wouldn’t have been difficult to find as the wreckage site quite contained.

Although i am bike-less at the moment, but I am going to get one when i am back from Uni next year. I used to have a Royal Enfield Lightning but sold it in 2008.

All passengers are reported to be Indian. The pilot was a Serb and the F/O was Indian. The airport is regarded as a ‘table top airport’ and requires special training for flying into.:(
The captain had 19 landings at Mangalore (17th May last) and the First Officer had 66 landings at the airport.
Boeing has sent a team to assist DGCA with the investigation.
