    My friend Paul Lews from The Guardian is updating the Enfield situation and has said 2 more shops have been ransacked by looters and the police have not done anything or even attempted to stop them.

    I am quite baffled really.

    My friends at Flightglobal say it was a “sensor failure” but their are also versions saying it was a problem with the flaps. So no confirmation yet.

    First Air India 787 takes off… declares emergency 10 mins into flight and lands back safely.

    Yes following it…. and the crew and AF’s training of pilots is indeed taking a lot of heat.

    A pity, BBC does a good job and the ads free experience is great. But the F1 viewership isn’t really increasing by leaps and bounds.

    Asiana Cargo 747 crashes

    SEOUL, South Korea β€” An Asiana Airlines cargo plane crashed into waters off the southern coast of South Korea on Thursday after reporting a fire in its cargo compartments, government officials said.

    The maritime police were searching for any sign of plane’s two pilots about 70 miles west of Jeju, the southernmost island off South Korea, in an area where a seat, a wing tip and other pieces of wreckage were recovered.

    I am interested to see what they have on paper for the 737RE. I am sure drawn up plans exist as they have been weighing on it as an option for a while.
