    Andrewm isn’t the J41 a turboprop? The British Aircraft manufacturing industry is in decline. We no longer produce a jet airliner and most of the military projects are years behind schedule and way over budget. Hardly the success story it once was.

    Very good. Interesting mix of photo’s and news. Well worth a look.

    Can I ask is it possible on your first page to have a different colour writing on the blue background? I found it very hard to read. Other than that, great stuff.

    Excellent photos there and a good cross section of BHX regulars. You want to try walking further onto the car park, out past the fuel farm, brings you close to the 33 threshold.

    That would be me Greekdude. Emirates A330 every lunchtime, CO 757 every morning, two PIA A310’s every day, Uzbek 767’s once or twice a week and Turkmen 757’s 3 or 4 times per week. Several LH flights daily and the same for Swiss, SN Brussels and KLM. It’s not a bad airport but would prefer more variety, but I imagine most of us feel the same about our regular spotting/photography haunts.

    You are right to a point. But suppose this ‘stupid girl’ was actually a suicide bomber who just happened to pull the pin in a crowded terminal? They would be collecting body parts for a week. We don’t yet know what the punishment will be but the ‘crime’ is not an inconsiderable one. There can’t be many people stupid enough to do that and expect to get away with it.

    No sympathy, she deserves all she gets. She made the decision to tell people she had a bomb, now she must face the consequences.
