I’m English. Live in the same industrial town where I was born. I am also British as England is a part of Great Britain. I am not now, nor ever will be Europoean in my eyes.

I was born British, and I’m pretty sure I’ll be that nationality when I die. Absolutely no desire whatsoever to be any other.

    Future Pilot.

Great stuff, told you it was a good spot.

    Ren,

The Aer Lingus aircraft isn’t on a stand it’s actually being pushed back. You can see the tug. As for the airbrakes perhaps it’s part of the final checks. Wys might know.

    Radar Archive.

Yes I think it is just coincidence. Thanks for the information though. Old Camp Road Ranges borders Cannock Chase which is obviously why he was buried there. The Cemetary was already extant as it holds a number of burials from the Great War, the majority of whom were New Zealanders who succumbed to influenza while at nearby Brocton Camp. Interestingly, although the German Military Cemetery is only a couple of hyndred yards away, the Commonwelath Cemetery provides a final resting place for perhaps as many as one hundred German casualties of the Great War.

Here’s a more general view of the Commonwealth Cemetery.

    Thanks again,

Nowhere near as old a fart as me. I was fifteen twenty-seven and a half years ago.

    Happy birthday to both.
