    I was hoping to go as Coventry is less than an hour from home. Unfortunately, health problems have intervened and I’m not going to be able to make it. 🙁

    I understand the DC-6 is flying so would be obliged if anyone can post a couple of photos.

    First of all, I visited Cosford last Saturday. I spoke to a couple of the volunteers and as far as they knew this project to cover the area between the hangars is going to go ahead. Here’s a poor pic but does give some idea of the size of the area to be covered over.

    For Peter, here’s a couple of pics of the Vulcan and Victor to follow. The Vulcan is currently roped off and does appear to be in a bit of a state.

    Another heartwarming thread. It’s good to think that some of these veterans are getting the chance of a final flight from Knettishall. Must have been a great experience to be there. Our thanks should go to all those who made it possible, just a small part of repaying the massive debt we owe.
