How does one go about telling which type is which?

The legend going around is that it’s an Ex-Victor set, but that may be all wrong. Would the 115V be wired in separately? We have a Clansman 28V 10A DC Supply, would that work? (I’m in the process of finding cables to make it work)

P.S. Also, I’ll be sure to post any findings on here – in fact, It may turn into a bit of a Project log…
