What a fine statement, Nasir, to beckon us to search the finer points of our different religions.

Does any know what Mk the Danish EH-101’s are?

Over to You “Soren-A” or “turboshaft”? No clue! “They are good!” (Danish pilots).
Once I bought a new car (1995). I know that smell. Remember, we only get a new SAR helo about every 40 years. It’s gotta be good! 😉
    P.S. And Sorry! Sikorsky wasn’t ready! 🙁

The final accident investigation report has now been published. (Mostly in Danish).

    http://www.havarikommissionen.dk

    go to “luftfart”

    go to “rapporter” – “2005” – “Harvard 2 OY-IIB” – “endelig ..”

In short: “Air Display practise. After formation take off RWY27L. “IIB” lead, No. 2 on the right side, right turn, (agreed climbing settings 2.000 RPM, 30 MP “Hg”). Winds 310 degrees, 11 – 13 knots (Gust min – max. 7 – 18 knots. Max. x-wind RWY27 constantly 15 knots from right) (10 Min. average). Left turn back downwind for a “09” pass, 379′ AGL (apprx.) towards display line. Too early left turn, not taking wind into account. Low speed (100 mph aprx.) and increasing wing drop on lead. Wingman broke off right. Left wing of “IIB” partially stalled, incipient spin, too low altitude to recover. Maybe pilot concentrating too much on display line. Non survivable crash due to impact forces and fire. (Fire was put out by Air Station Fire Department two minutes after crash alarm).”

    Harvards can bite hard

    So true, sadly!

I’m surprised they continued the display and retracted the undercarriage after this ‘dig in’, maybe a set of lightweight snow skids should be fitted at all times?

Just a guess? If the crew could’ve seen, what we see, they would’ve shut down everything and run out the back ramp! 😀

Oh yeah! Handball is a “contact” sport! 😉
The “torch” was in response to a rumour, that corans were burned publicly in Copenhagen.
    1. It’s too damned cold tonight
    2. We have got a very “shrewd” police chief in Copenhagen used to dealing with “autos”.
    So – back to handball!

Recently I saw a video from an “RC”-event. A Merlin landed to unload a small vehicle. It spectacularly dug in it’s nosewheel in the “lawn”. I can’t find the video? (RC-Fun?) Suggestions?

To repeat myself: “We don’t really understand each other”.
Yes, the Danish embassy in Syria was torched. (For a drawing, i bet they have not seen).
There are life & death issues: F.ex. Denmark beating Spain in handball, which I’m watching right now. 😉

Viper 01. I believe the artists have remained anonymous, for security reasons. (Advice from the police).
Compensations? Maybe they just want payment for “copyright” from around the world? Fair enough, in my opinion.
If you are able to, look at the 12 drawings. One of them is of “Mohammed”, 4’th grader, writing on the blackboard (in Arabic): “The editors of “Jyllands-Posten” are grumpy old men stirring up things” (apprx.) At least they can laugh of themselves.
    Religion in society?
Most of Europe is now “secular”. So we really don’t understand each other.

    Some facts:
Danish? imam Abu Laban (speaks only Arabic and English) tell one thing to the TV cameraes in English and the opposite in Arabic. A delegation of Danish imams toured the Middle East. They brought more than the 12 drawings, including one showing Muhammed with pigs ears and nose. Why?
Laban represents maybe 2000 of the 200.000 Danish Moslems. Today a countermovement of moderate Moslems is being established. MP Naser Khader is one of the leaders here, that does not want to be represented by Laban.
