It’s all a moot point. They have no money, so are looking for a professional fundraiser, but have no money to pay him (or her)
They were talking of building the aircraft and then handing it over to the BBMF to operate. Are the BBMF on board with this? Will it be operated as a military aircraft (under the auspices of the MAA, like all the other BBMF airframes) or as a civilian-registered aircraft? Have they had meaningful discussions with the CAA? Have they decided on whether they will contract an approved organisation to do the build for them? How much do they estimate this will cost?
The fact that they are talking about things such as the mark of Mosquito they intend to configure it as, and the colour schemes they intend to change to every couple of years (do they have ANY idea just how much a repaint costs?) rather than addressing these fundamental issues shows, quite frankly, just how far out of their depth they are.
A year on, and they would appear to be no further forward.
