I believe that they are Wellington too but for later versions, the early one was much fatter. The mounting of the tailwheellegs are similar to the Wellington as well.

Who| Barry?
Ok to keep it on topic, af few years ago the remains of a Hampden were
fished up from an English port. IIRC some of the bits including an undercarriage leg were to be used in a Hampden project (possibly East Kirkby?).
Any confirmation of this?

Same goes for the Stirling

B29 as well
great pics of a great site, any pics of the stacks of turret cupolas and the mentioned Halifax pilot chassis they got from CARG ??.
that last one was better at home at another location in any museum on display instead of in storage
hope they will do something nice with the stirling sections, as i have mentioned before, a complete restored tailsection will already give something of the size and impression of the stirling instead of ….nothing

The Aviodrome sold off it’s Spitfire for an undisclosed amount of money and an imcomplete Firefly without any Dutch history to Karel Bos
It is said that on the island of Curacao, there are two Dutch Firefly wrecks that are still where they fell and are very substantial.

I think it’s a great move to have this wreck brought in from the cold and be given the care it needs, this is a historic airframe after all from the beginning of the hostilities in Europa. Let’s hope more airframes out in the open in Scandinavia will be given the same treatment.

Which one is next from AA, RR232?

can’t agree more, excellent work going on there. Will the project concentrate on the fittings
before starting on the cockpit structure? are those drawings already finalized?
Exciting times to see what progress has been made in recent years by the stirling project.

well, we new know what might turn up in the next decade, stranger things have happened such as the Dutch fuselage section and the sections in france
nice to see so much positive things happening with the stirling

well, german instruments are much more expensive than american or british ones. you have to make up your mind if you want a bomber or a fighter. just a matter of taste and the endlessness of you backpocket of course. personally i would say try a more obscure one than the thousands of 109, fw190 panels. a He111 would be nice for a change, or a ju88
good luck

Nice
Definately Stirling, we have a similar panel from BK620 in storage, as well as the joining plates on the stringer junctions are also a give away.
Hindenburg,
Excellent work on the rudder pedals
