Perhaps Dave “Pink Floyd” Gilmour has some spares.

Looking very good. Very similar to a Whitley panel.

Any progress on the Cazenove Mk I? Never knew about the French XI. Substantial remains or dataplate.
Not that I mind that.

By the way, the only thing I still need is a Rotax de-icing pump as used in many RAF aircraft such as the Spitfire, Hornet etc. If anyone has one kicking about, I can provide a good home for it;)
We can always ask can we?:o

Some more Halifax progress,
Just about finished riveting the engine control duct that runs next to the pilot’s chassis. On this item a lot of parts are fitted such as the hydraulic system console, the elevator trimming wheel, a slot into which the collapsible flight engineers seat can move, the finished rudder pedals and last but not least the throttle box trunk + throttle box itself. Nice to see things coming together. Also some pics of the flight engineer panels and finally a hmmm err thingy…….

Wow X,
That’s looking great. Any idea how you are going to restore that corroded part, using lots of filler?

Very very Nice Elliott,
Great work you are doing there. What’s the first goal to achieve for the team?
Reconstruction of a nose section?

If you wish to place it on this side of the water Cees, I’d be willing to help you move it.:D
Hi Rob,
If I had the space to do so I would have done it long ago. The Victor is also one of my favourites you know, just as it is yours;)

Pity, history repeats itself.
There are many Vulcans surviving but the poor old Victor which has been in service much longer fights for survival.:(

All of the above:cool:

Bruce,
IIRC, it was in Austria, for sale as a potential flyer project.
Did you receive my PM? Or is you inbox full?

Looking at the pics it looks like the construction is almost German-like instead of British. British aircraft didn’t use the yellow coloured material didn’t it?
