I’m very surprised that the U.S. hasn’t made a fuss about compromising secrets on the F-35C. In the past the French haven’t been exactly trustworthy concerning stealth. I’m not worried the French will attack us. I’m worried they will steal F-35 tech and build there own. Now how to you protect the tech if the aircraft is on a French ship?
I guess you kept in mind the well-known rumour that there is a hidden hangar on the CdG where foreign aircraft are disassembled, reverse engineered and reassembled while their pilots are enjoying a dinner with their French “allies”, eating foie gras, sipping red wine and watching female pole dancers. Am I right?
This helped me understand why the Rafale looks like a patchwork of different bits barely matching together: ’cause the parts come from older alien jets!
