yep, PT6A-21
At this time Czech Air Force and Aero Vodochody is working on modernisation program for L159A. Shortly L159 will get new two MFD 5×6,7 with digital maps, ELCRODAT 4-2 multimode encryption system, Have Quick II for its AN/ARC210 and new IFF AN/APX-119. First aircraft would be completed in the midle of this year, further seven up to the end of the 2010 or during 2011. Interesting or strange information is, that the update program is financed only for eight CzAF L159As right now. It can mean some points – more and more poeple in army talks about L-39 replacement – futher L159T1 from CzAF L159A (stored or in use), so more brand new L159A? Or L159 is getting slowly new CzAF trainer (A or T1 version no matter) no more advanced light combat aircraft? Because L159 is sure replacement for L-39, it´s only question of time. Or it´s only question of money and more modernised L159A will be later? Note, this year Czech goverment must make resolution about supersonic aircrafts future for air force, to buy leased gripens, or other aircrafts and how many, because in army´s dokument is still defined minimal quantity of 24 aircrafts for supersonic fleet.
I’ve worked on the odd Subaru and always liked them…..excellent engineering…..but sometimes a bit ‘strange’! 😀
strange… I can tell you… people often ask me with wide smile what a spaceship is it? 😀

well, it´s 12 years old Subaru SVX, and there are only 6 examples in the Czech republic, so it´s very rare and that is way it was not expensive (contrary to time 12 years ago :-))), just car for impractical idiot like me, but I love subaru and tatra … :-))

This Museum is very interesting to me because it has one Yugoslav trainer SOKO 522.The only pictures I found of it are these
this is a page from Letectvi+ Kosmonautika from 1984.
Rumcajs do you have pictures of 522 or have you seen it?Do you now in what condition it is now perhaps? It is supposed to be in very good condition, almost ready to fly.
I found this photo of the Soko in the Prague-Kbely´s muzeum, I think the photo is from 2008
Could any one tell me what the top-right component (above the TV screen in the Angolan Su-22M-4 cockpit) is? I don’t know what its function is as we see it in some Su-22M3/4 cockpit but other ones. Thank you!
it´s gunsight´s photocamera if I am not wrong it´s SÅ -45-1-100-0C type (same used in later MiG-21, Mi-24V and more (“photomachinegun” called in russian language).
