I have also just been watching it.. but unaided… still made good viewing… Im in West Yorkshire and where i am we have a lovely clear night..

Has any one had there lenses out?? if so please feel free to share your photos.. I didnt have my camera to hand so didnt get the chance of even attempting a shot.

While i was going through Standsted the other week i saw a few big knives in the box….. i thought what on earth are people thinking??

Just heard an a/c calling Mayday into Luton tonight at 2210. Didnt catch the flight number as signal was weak on handheld scanner here in a central london hotel. Heard the mayday call on 129.55 then transferred to 123.55. Anyone got any info?

Any one got any info in regards to any problems etc??

Those Pendos are certainly well built, looking at some of the pictures there appeared to be very little structural damage to the carriages and that would have prevented this being a much worse incident.

My sympathy and condolences to those involved and their families.

i agree there…. it looks like a strong bit of kit!!

yeah i get you….started as Commercial Aviation in regards to the cost of the flights…… but then we have gone a little off topic…….

You can move it over to Gen if you wish..

well £120.00 for the hotel for 2 nights… 4* though…

Yes, i know the location of TRF… hence the hire car. (saying that… who would use a bus anyway!!! i know i would not!!!)

… also its good to drive about and see the place!

As per the TOMTOM its 60miles from the airport to the hotel.. so thats no big deal…

As i have just got back from Sweden and ejoyed it out there…. im looking at Norway.. Oslo…. now… drit cheap flights with the good old Ryanair!
