A suspected shoebomber wrestled into submission by air marshalls as fighter jets were scrambled has reportedly turned out to be a Qatari diplomat trying to secretly smoke in the plane’s toilet.

I also work for Jet2.com on the ground but at Leeds. I can tell you that on Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday the flights are operated by 757s, whereas on a Friday it’s a 737.
Enjoy your flights.
Many thanks
Rick
I was surprised to log only 2 flights for the football match, Livingstone A321 and an Itali MD80 D-DAVA, we all joked in the AVP that perhaps Milan only brought 250 fans !!
I bet they did wish that after tonight’s result!
I check in Jet2.com flights on a regular basis from NCL, Your seats will be preassigned before check in opens and they cant be used until you arrive to check in. You will have two seats together over the window A and B seats with your Infant sitting on the lap of the person in the window seat. Cant comment on weather the aircraft will be a 757 im affraid.
May i suggest you ring up the Jet2.com call Center a few days before to comfirm or call the MAN Jet2.com Ticket desk.
Thank you for the above information, I will give them a call closer to the time.
Cheers
Rick
Did anything of intrest come in today?
and
Internet note posted by man linked to plane crash
Listening to the reports on TV from sky news, reports seem to suggest 2 or 3 english (British young males) have been arrested, possibility of excess alcohol related.
Hopefully.. it was just some idiot(s) making a silly comment and nothing more sinister.
Reports state PAX are now leaving the aircraft after 4 hours stood on taxi way – EK004 was due out @ 20:00

Weather Situation at Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport has reopened as of 1pm and arrivals have started to land at the airport. The worst of the Weather appears to have now passed and our focus now is on clearing the runway and airfield of the remaining snow.We expect a slow departure rate as we try and deal with the backlog of flights from this morning. We encourage all passengers flying today to check with their airlines for the latest up-to-date information on their flight.
