Keep posting away Stewart, always check what you read a couple of times though. The only perosn who comes away, in my opinion, looking a little silly is Bentwingbomber whose chastisement in this thread and your Duxford Meet thread is a shame when he perhaps could have added to the thread rather than taken away from it.

Name dropping is when someone inserts names into conversation (conversation in this case) to impress other. Basically, Bentwingbomber is asserting that you are putting Clive and Glenn’s names into your post as a way of, to put it a simply, showing off and that he was a little bored by it.

Generally its either DC3, Twin Pin, Rapide or Prentice. We were hoping to have the Dove available this year but it doesn’t look likely due engine troubles.

I guess it depends on how such a thing would be handled. If the Lanc was to fly over Berlin/Dresden and drop poppies or some other symbolic symbol of peace then it would be a different matter.
