I’ve recently just copied some super-8 and standard-8 onto digital formats and found that surprisingly good results can be had, all you need is a good projector with clean optics, a nice crease-free white sheet (i had a screen which is better admittedly but a white sheet would do) and a good video camera. I used my XM2 which is pretty handy for low light (my projectors image is not as bright as I’d hoped for) and I didnt suffer from the noise grain that some camcorders need to boost the image.

Having recorded the footage I cleaned it up a little on Adobe Premiere (fine tuning of colour balance etc) and then saved it onto a dvd.

Great pictures dave, thank you for taking the time and effort to post. Did you happen to notice who designed the stain glass windows?

Now for the Red Baron team I don’t like their Paint Scheme either I think that they all should have their service style paint on them.

but that wouldn’t be authentic because they are no longer in service 😉

    Oops, my bad…

Lloyd George and…and…and that other guy

🙂 you musn’t care at all about history then if you couldn’t get the other guys name 😉

My point is, the ‘churchill poll’ is hardly a fair reflection on a generation or indeed Mr Patterson, theres also other wars than WW2. Some necessary, some not…all tragic.

Look folks in the past few years we have seen report after report stating that todays Youth have no clue about WWII just last month a report came out on BBC stating that over 85% of today UK Youth between the ages of 13-21 didn’t know who Churchill was.

crazymainer, who were the two british prime ministers during the great war? (without looking 😉 )

    best regards, steve
