Looks fantastic
is it going to be on TV ?
any dates ?
Jules
Hello Jules,
im the director of the film and would be happy to answer any questions about it if anyone has any. Regards your question about when will it be released – the answer is this year and hopefully sooner rather than later. We are talking to broadcasters and if we can’t secure a TV broadcast then we will release on DVD.
I wont be able to release any more material for now. What I may release is a few clips from the making of the film including some material shot at the 65th Dams Raid anniversary flypast. This ill release with the next e-newsletter in about a months time.
best wishes
Steve

thanks for sharing those David, it seems squadron christmas cards were quite common.
Whilst making the film we spent a fair bit of time with Ken Wallis who showed us his collection of images from over the year. One of these, a silhouetted air to air with a wellington ( piloted by Ken ), was taken for the 103 squadron christmas card. Has anyone seen an example of this in it’s christmas card format?
I havent the image on this hard drive to post i’m afraid.
I have an xmas card that my late father sent whilst at Abingdon in 1943?
Hopefully image attached.though probaly not.
just how do you add pictures to a posting?
You will find a ‘manage attachments’ option when you reply to a post. Its just below the box where you enter your text in the ‘additional options’ section.
another apt image at the moment,

from another veteran, RAF Skellingthorpe.
Do you know if the BBMF have seen this card?
mmitch.
Not to my knowledge but im sure there is more than one example out there so who knows,
best wishes
Steve
Hi Paul
What is this about ? an old film of 550 squadron at Nort Killingholme ?
A very good friend of mine was a Lanc pilot with 550.
I’d like to know more please.Jules
Its a new, recently finished documentary about Bomber Command. It is not about 550 specifically. See http://www.intothewind.co.uk for more details and the trailer.
best wishes
Steve

The new Into the Wind website is online as of today…
Details of screening etc will be posted on here and eventually we will begin to post some clips and even short films which we shot alongside the main feature.
Thanks for the interest everyone,

Steven
I assumed someone would PM me 🙂
anyway…Red Hunter wins.
Sad News,
A picture or Brian at Pathfinder Sunday 2008 at RAF Wyton.
I don’t know how many people on here have used this site but I found it pretty useful for making presentations and have had a go at putting a very small selection of material from the film into an online booklet.
A very useful way for small groups to publish newsletters etc at no cost.
Here is my effort,
I’ve uploaded a new gallery of Black and White portraits taken during the production period including the last surviving Dam Buster pilot, Les Munro. I will add more as time goes on,
