Qatar has one A345. It’s a VIP aircraft, but I’m sure they could use it thrice weekly for a non-stop Australia flight.

Is there an ICAO code for the Aera 51 airport?
Sure there is, it’s ALN (alien). 😎
New avatar is much better.
It’s been in the mid to upper 90’s all last week in the L.A. area.

Do they still have that smoking room with no ceiling where the smoke wafts through the whole terminal
Yes they do, in the C gates.
That’s why you should have called months ago to get good assigned seats.

My experiences on an AMM 763 were awful. G-OOAO was the worse out of the two aircraft. I imagine all 763s are pretty similar so I can imagine what it was like on G-DIMB.
Depends on the airline. United’s 763’s are really nice, with PTV’s and the like in 3-class configuration.

JACKO IS A FREAK!!!
Nellis Air Force base is just north of Las Vegas, which is where the Thunderbirds are based. Regardless of this, the ‘area 51’ 737’s are always parked at McCarran. And yes, EAL_King, Area 51 does exist and there is an air base in Nevada. That much I know for sure. The latter part on the other hand…..
They have a great camouflage paintjob, because I didn’t notice them until you pointed them out just now.
Last summer, the Royal Barge was showing up to Heathrow every other day, it seemed.
That’s what I’m talkin’ about!

Those B732’s with the red stripe are the Area 51 ones right?
Indeed they are.

Wasn’t the original t-tailed 757 concept dubbed the 100 series ?I also read somewhere that at the time of trying to initially sell the 757/767 to new customers the 100 series was considered unpopular as a mark by Boeing following poor sales of the 721 the most popular 737 mark at the time was also the 732.
Therefore the original production series of 757/767’s was redubbed the 200 series.
This is pretty accurate, Ren, at least according to all the readings I have done on both aircraft.
What aircraft are they using on this route? If they use their A345, they can operate non-stop.
