Nice Andrew.
I don’t know about any Air Freedom, but Freedom Air (SJ) is from New Zealand.
Pic 2 is a 767 or a 757.
I’m guessing that this is a glass cockpit. J/K I’m guessing MD11 but I’m probably way off.

Who’s a newbie, me or EAL King?

it looks longer
How do you figure it looks longer? The -700 is a direct replacement for the -300, so if anything, they appear to be the same lenth. In reality, the -700 is like inches longer than the -300. And yes, the NG’s tails are taller.

The 300 series IS NOT longer than the 700 series EAL King.

I was not aware of this terminology so I had to go ask the wife to fill me in.

Do they have plans for a non stop SIN-SFO serivice? I thought they were just doing the SIN-LAX atm?
I actually did some research and non-stop SIN-LAX starts on Feb. 3. Interestingly enough, SQ will continue to operate their ‘other’ 2 one-stop flights (744 via NRT and 772 via TPE) along with this new non-stop service for a total of 3 dailies to LAX. According to the timetable, the non-stop A345 flight is only 1 hour 15 minutes shorter than the 744 flight that stops in NRT and 2 hours shorter than the 772 flight that stops in TPE.
SQ’s website says nothing about upcoming SFO flights, but it does mention that a ‘New York’ flight is coming soon.
A BHX thread from last week had some photos posted by one of the forum members showing an EK A330 and some cargo heavies among others.
There are over 30 beaches on the island, I’m sure the kids would like the beach. There’s lots of shopping with dirt-cheap duty free prices in Phillipsburg. I don’t know about amusement parks or bona fide site-seeing areas, but there are great restaurants and places just to ‘chill.’ Your hotel should have a presentation of activities such as snorkeling, wind surfing, America’s cup yachting, pontoon boats, and mini cruises to neighbouring St. Barths, for instance. There’s plenty to do aside from getting blown over by jetblast.

They are transporting the fuselage pieces by road, and the wings via ship…nifty eh?
They better avoid any underpasses and tunnels!

I do see CRT’s though?
Those, too.
I’m guessing the content on the LCD’s were superimposed. If so, forget discovery wings, where’s the porn? 😎
Cargo Airlines aside, realistically, which passenger airlines would be justified in sending an A380 to Lisbon? Like, none probably. Not even the national carrier can justify a route of this magnitude, in my opinion.
