Not getting fed on a 1 hour flight, I can handle that because I expect it. Not getting fed on a 3 hour flight, that’s a different story. Did you have to pay for those refreshments on Spanair, Keltic?
What is, “Expo?” I know it was someone in Canada in ’86.
On a 45 minute hop, what more do you expect? Did you have to pay for that beer?
Lockheed Martin was not taken over by Boeing, McDonnell Douglas was, back in 98. Lockheed Martin for some time now, has only concentrated on military aircraft, and will continue to do so.
Still in school is one thing, but try and mix in a comma, perhaps a full stop, or something. Sentence structure, the final frontier….

Oh no……..very very few Viatnamese people live abroad so i dont think thats a factor.
Kabir are you aware of how many Vietnamese people there are in Australia? Let’s just say, there are 7 pages of the name Nguyen (very common Vietnamese name, a la Smith in the English language) in the Greater Sydney area phone book, alone. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, there are tons. There are quite a few in the U.S., as well. Many defected during and after the Vietnam War.
It surely was not the 100th 747. That would have been delivered sometime in the 70’s, to an airline other than SIA, I’m sure.
That might explain things, but in the state of confusion, I think I left the pax area into the checkin area. Oh well, next time I fly through there, I’ll make sure I make an appearance. Just out of curiosity, is the same area where that old partial DC-8 fuselage is/was? Also, what are the hours of operation? Also, Monster, I just read your flight review. It’s realy 12.5 hours from Perth to Singapore, wow! I had no idea it was such a long flight. It was only 7 hours from Sydney to Singapore, even less than that on the return.
I’ve never actually checked in, or out in FRA. I’ve always just been there on layover. I’m guessing since I was flying LH both times, I was in terminal 1? I recall asking somebody where the observation deck was, and them giving me directions, but still not able to find it. I was there towards the evening, so perhaps it was closed? I know UA’s lounge was about to close as I got there.
Good, keep ’em coming. Excellent quality! You use digital?
I liked the 4th one, till you associated it with Qualiflyer!
I like the -200, as well. Yes Michael, UA’s 767’s are in a 2-3-2 format.
WHOAH, take a breath there EAL King! That’s da longest ‘sentence’ I’ve ever seen!
Great pics Monster. Is that the exact name of it, “Terminal 1 veiwing mall?” Last August I flew through via FRA, from ATH-AMS, and I missed my connection so I had SEVERAL hours to kill. I was looking for the ‘viewing deck’ but never managed to find it. FRA can get a little confusing at times, has anybody else felt the same way?
I didn’t know they flew to Puerto Rico. The CEO of of Jetblue used to do wonders at Southwest, so he knows what the hell he’s doing. They’ve been able to more than just ‘stay afloat’ in these turbulent times for aviation in the U.S. Perhaps now, they’ll open up a hub at my hometown airport, ONT, to augment their mini-LGB hub. Every one of those routes from LGB is designed to compete against one of the biggies, although they originate from LAX. By them taking delivery of the EMB190, their definitely going away from the Southwest mold, of operating more than one type.
