QF used to fly to Greece, but haven’t done so for years. OA stopped recently. It’s ridiculous, ditto with the Italy situation. SN and TG are banking on this at the moment, as they are the only ones to offer one-stop service between Australia and Athens.
It’s coming towards you, away from the sun.
No, I wasn’t around in the 1800’s, never heard of it. I thought that expo was in Montreal, in 1986, right?
That’s what I’m here for, EG, hence the title.
Does that mean Emirates will sell tickets between SYD and AKL, and vice versa? I know Thai flies between SYD and AKL, but you can’t purchases tickets for just that route, it’s only continuation from BKK-SYD-AKL.
Nothing special about any 747-400 then, or any other plane for that matter, eh Monster?
Steve, I think you need to change your title to “Down Under Guru,” you are all over the Aussie aviation news, mate! Nice job. You ever notice that around this time, (11 p.m. for me, 4 p.m. for you) we’re the only ones on? This post 999 for me. I have to make 1000 a good one.
I’ll enlighten you SOC. By the way, good quality right there. The first one is an Embraer ERJ-135/145. The 2nd one is a Fairchild Metro III. The 3rd one is a 737-400. The last one is a 737-800. By the way Shahid, “great shot you guyS?” The same person took all 4 of those shots!
I believe that is a -300 series NW A330. Also, what is Qatar going to do with those A345’s, open up non-stop service to Eastern Australia, perhaps?
Den einai tipota, kai egw se euharisto. 😉
As big a Boeing fan as I am, I’m anxiously looking forward to the rollout and first flight of this beast. I thought Emirates’ order totalled 40+ after this recent transaction?
Roger, I’m going to be in AMS in about a week or so. Where is the public terrace, and how do I get there?
United pretty much used to serve food or some sort of snack on all of their mainline flights. Of course with cutbacks and financial difficulties/ch. 11, services on shorter mainline flights got reduced. Now, will this come back when they get back on their feet again, who knows?
This is surprising, as in my experiences, I’ve felt the security in Australia to be very tight, even prior to 9/11.
Who do you usually fly with, FLA dude?
