They are STILL in chapter 11 (with no hope to leave anytime soon) and their cash reserves are STILL appaling.
I still have hope. They reached agreements with their remaining 2 unions on June 1st, so they now have agreements on restructuring with all 6 of their unions. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Q: Will I be able to see kangaroos in the street? (USA)
A: Depends how much you’ve been drinking.
These are hilarious. Some obviously stupid people asking genious questions here. This one, however, is a very common misperception in the U.S. I’ve been to Australia about a dozen times and I’ve been asked this countless times by various people I’ve encountered upon hearing that I frequent OZ. 😮

A little bittersweet. That’s a huge change of scenery. We definitely enjoyed the SXM pics while they lasted. Best of luck Helican.
Those are fantastic. Is that from Stockholm’s main airport?
I have been a top tier flyer for 9 years, over 300 flights a year. This has never happened to me either. I couldnt believe it myself!
Maybe I should scan the card and post it?? :p
Tommy, I’m jealous. Although not 1K like you, I’m premier exec and have been so for 5 years, all trips paid for out of my own pocket. Must be nice to travel for business and acquire all the perks. I’ve never gotten a thank you card. 😡 I’ll stop being a hater now…
The carvair was actually derived from the DC4
I stand corrected. I knew it was a DC-something less than 8. 😀 Even my original response was subpar as the DC-8 was obviously a jet not a prop aircraft. 😮 I meant to say DC-6 or 7 but that was still wrong. I’ll crawl under a rock now. 😮
I don’t know as much about aviation as all you guys but what is the old classic that looks a bit like a 747 with props on about half way down?
That’s a Carvair. It was derived from a DC-7 or DC-8. It was used to transport vehicles, hence the name.
Condor to Fairbanks, eh? Is this a cruise charter?
I approve of this statement, particular the use of the word ‘coy.’:
While coy on confirming the results…
Cost $5.2million or avail for dry lease
What a bargain.
These are way outta’ my league! I don’t even see an airstrip in the 4th photo. All I see is a bridge and a very dirty river.
I would think the figures quoted for FRA is commercial only. AMS is huge in terms of landmass. Runways alone, AMS has like what, 7 or 8 whereas FRA has 3.
That’s very unlike Delta, normally their Aircraft are in prisine condition
Not necessarily. Even their widget scheme has many a dirty airplane. It was just harder to tell with the cheatline and a little more blue overall, not to mention the black nose.
