I just did some in-depth research, and F-BTSC, the Concorde in the film, did indeed crash. So there’s proof for you.
LOL, alrighty then, I stand corrected. Did said concorde survive dogfights with fighter jets in real life, as well? Other than the concorde one, I don’t know that they’ve ever lifted a jumbo off the floor of the Bermuda Triangle.

I dunno, now you have a 707 blank I’d have thought you’d at least have done the most significant movie-airliner! :diablo: 😉 :p 😀
Andy
I’m not familiar with ‘Airliner,’ nor have I seen the original ‘Airport.’ Are you not referring to ‘Airplane?’

I was waiting for this one Sandy! Airport 75 with Charleton Heston. Did they have the red stripe on there though? I thought it was the basic AA livery, with a blue stripe on the bottom as well. I could be wrong.

Ah the “Underwater 747” Airport. They don’t movies like that any more. Thankfully.
Surprised they haven’t made “Airport ’01 – The World Trade Centre” yet.
Oh I don’t know, maybe because Airport, Airport 75, Airport 77, and Airport 79 weren’t based on true stories? I think that was a key component in all of those films.

Is it Airport 77?

I’m usually able to pick up on the airports they use in the films, but I’m not sure which airport was ‘Dulles’ in Die Hard 2. ONT has been used quite a bit lately in series like LAX and Curb Your Enthusiasm, as well as in Catch Me If You Can. When I flew out of there 2 weeks ago, they were fliming something.

I think they still had a little bit of fuel left at that point. Their tanks weren’t completely exhausted. 😉 Great job Sandy! I knew it right away, but I just didn’t post quick enough.

It’s probably Pan Am Mk. II or III. There have been a few after the ‘real’ Pan Am.
