Do I see ghosts in photo 12? 😮
That must have made an impressive sound.
Will it be at….?
Somebody was going to say it, so it might as well be me.
Already done in post 2. :p
From the TVOC site.
“Squadron Leader Martin Withers RAF (Ret’d) has accepted the role of the Trust’s Chief Pilot”
They did look a bit past their best though.

The fighters used a spearhead and the bombers a grenade)
That must have made for an interesting dogfight. :p
I saw a Time Team today on Discovery that I hadn’t seen before where they were looking for a B-17.
Two a/c collided in mid air resulting in the loss of both.
Are the Chipmunks Leeds UAS? I can’t find my UAS stuff at this time. They were at Dishforth for a time as well as Church Fenton. The Canberra T.4 and the Hunter couldn’t have been taken from a worse angle.
The VC.10 seems to follow on from the Farnboro pics.
John
If they were from Leeds the two Beverleys in the background would match up with some pictures I have.

I shall be taking part in the local parades as part of my ATC sqns band.
Are there any pictures of the Halifax on the net?
If not can anybody kindly post some.
Thanks,
Sam
These are some fantastic photographs and I much enjoy looking at them and then reading the brilliant pieces of research that people have done to identify them.
I think that one of the prototypes (ZH588?) is at Hendon now.
Here’s one I found interesting.
