the F2 BM will be the heavier 9.8t!

    the “BM” has been canceled

AMSAR isn’t a program , just a progect, and since 10 years no one want to put one penny on it to develop it, so thales and french gov go his own way!

where did you read that ?
AMSAAR IS a joint program to develop afordable active modules for the future active antennas of the rafale and Eurofighter. However, the active radars of those 2 aircrafts will be different (the rafale will use the RBE-2AA) but both will use the same active modules developed thanks to the AMSAR program.

I guess the easiest way to put these arguments to rest would be to take a Rafale from the French Navy and a Typhoon from the RAF and pit them against one another under tight test parameters.

Are the RAF typhoon cleared to use the aim-120B ?
I ask that because in the may issue of AFM, they say that the typhoon was only about to get her aim-9 clearance

With only AIM-9, the Typhoon would be no match for a rafale M F1 with mica EM :diablo:

    it was a mirage 2000 Nk2 indeed.

About the tornado losts during desert strorm : They flew the most difficult missions the first days (runway attacks) and some of them were shot down . The french jaguars also had a bad day during their first strike on Al-Jaber. There were 12 Jaguars for this mission and 4 were hit by AAA and SA-7…it’s a miracle that none was shot down. For the next missions the french did the same as the british and strike from safer altitudes

    2) Rafale C s/n 102 has been seen recently at Bordeaux-Merignac: delivered as F2 specification?

The last rafale F1 built was the rafale M10 back in 2002.
All rafale delivered since this date are F2 machines.

BTW, the only “non-M” rafale F1 was the B301 but she has been retrofited for the F2/F3 standard trials.

Your lack of arguments is not an excuse to insult the other members of the forum.
