Not buying any PC-9 would have meant to abandon fixed wing aviation in the air-corps. Would this have been better in your opinion?

The tender for the new trainer aircraft(pc-9s) and the new helicopters(s-92s) came out at the same time and when the government hinted that it couldn`t afford both, the air corps immediatly declared its preferance for the helicopters saying that the pc-9s were not needed straight away. also,The report done by price-waterhouse cooper on the defence forces needs stated that the air corps badly needed new mlhs. The minister for defence however went against both the air corps and the report and only gave the go-ahead for the pc-9s.

But why not ask for a little more….;) 😀

the air corps actually had saved up a fair amount of money with the intention of putting it towards new helicopters but our government decided that they wanted a second private jet….and they decided that since the air corps had some money lying around they`d use that. Also the air corps just got new pc-9s costing around 70million which could have gone towards a fair few blackhawks

considering that the current state of israel didn`t exist until 1946 and that hundreds of thousands of palestinians were forced to leave PALESTINE!! can you really blame them for trying to get back they`re own country.

before anyone says it ,i`m in no way condoning suicide bombings but if you look back through history, everytime a group of people have had they`re country occupied by a foreign army, they fight for their freedom
