There is only 1 Dauphin still flying of the origional 5 so a replacement is urgent.
Naval heli ops are finished and we`ll probably never see them again, the Casa 235`s now do the job that the Dauphin did.
There is a strong chance that the AB139 will win, EC145 too small and Blackhawk to “military-looking” for the antiwar crowd.

it would be pretty stupid for them to get the Dauphin. They already have them and this tender is for heli`s to replace them. They should get the AB139 or Blackhawk.

Either A) blow a whistle as loud as u can down the phone or B)get the operator to trace the call and ring him around the clock

No way! Spike Milligan is that low down. One of the funniest guys ever. Even his tombstone is funny: “I told you I was ill”.

    All but one…. George Lazenby…

    David Niven (English)
    Sean Connery (Scottish)
    Roger Moore (English)
    Timothy Dalton (Welsh)
    Pierce Brosnan (Irish)

Cough Cough Pierce Brosnan is from the Republic of Ireland which isn`t part of the UK so in fact the only person to have played Bond who`s head of state isn`t the Queen is Pierce Brosnan.

The helicopters on LE Eithne were used for maritime patrol, ie checking ships were who they said they were and generally keeping track of ship movements in Irish territorail waters and the Irish “box”. They are no longer needed because of the introduction of the Casa`s in the early nineties which do a better job.

Aerlingus already operate A320s,A321s,A330-200s and A330-300s so keeping comonality in their fleet would seem to be the best option especially seeing as how easy pilot conversion is between the airbus family.

its banned in all public places here in ireland, ie pubs, shops, offices etc. Its hilarious to see groups of smokers huddled together outside pubs in the pouring rain.
