Tom – is she in the news pages this month as my friend was quite keen on her not being so! I shall have to give him a buzz.

Hi Arthur. Try this.
Major Cuthbert Roger ROWDEN. MC. 78 Sqn, RAF. Died 20 April 1918. Age 21.
Formerley with the 5th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment. Buried in Rottingdean Churchyard, nr Brighton, Sussex. Son of Arthur Roger Rowden and Blanche Mary Rowden of Eastnor, Ledbury, Herefordshire. Husband of Frances Rowden of Halcon, Redhill, Surrey.

Whats its registration? G-SNTA? 😀 😀 😀 😀 Has the Caa given permission for him to fly in uk airspace?

It will be flying on a Lapland Experimental Certification… So it does not need UK Certification

Interesting to see a Swastika on the tail of the JU88, I thought that this symbol was banned in Germany, not that I’m against it, for authenticities sake, it should be on there.
Is the Me110 original, it looks a bit too tidy to be completely real.

Shame that the creator of the Spitfire can’t team up with the creator of the 1/5th scale runnable Merlin!!!

All ‘Known’ Battle parts in Canada are listed in Warbirds Directory Vol 4 and all have been Identified with RAF/RCAF Serials – If you knew where it came from in Canada…. Roughly – Not saying owner – but maybe location then if it is one of them listed in the book then the serial will be known

Colin Cummings has written a series of books, listing all RAF incidents since 1945 to 1999 – There is no accident on the 9th July 1958 listed… There were 3 accidents on the 11th July 1958 – But only one resulted in someone being killed..

Javelin FAW4 XA751 of 141 Sqn which crashed 1 1/4 miles NW of RAF Wattisham Killing Captain E Taylor of the USAF (age 36) – The navigator ejected OK..
