You probably shouldn’t have the altitude engaged for takeoff. It won’t rotate properly?
The hawk, compared to some of the RAF’s “fast jets” are quite quiet. Jaguar’s on the other hand WOOO!
Nice hawk shot, 100 Squadron RAF. We’ve got a similar skull and crossbones for 100 Squadron Air Training Corps 😀
Nice shot, out of interest…what is it?
Which version do you own though.
I’ve been reading about the latest version (6.2) which is now on its 5th or 6th patch!!!
I meant bit-part as in bits missing, I shall look again!
Update: Pages are now working, when I looked they weren’t…I retract my original statement 😀
Website looks rather bit-part…missing a few pages was it?
They should have had some form of smart “Operated on behalf of XL.com” along the nose.
Ruins the beautiful Air Malta livery.
Whoops…that looks a bit messy!
The days where aeroplanes really were…I love nostalgia. Wish I was born 20 years earlier 😀
What time does it depart then because it was definately on its way OUT of manchester. I do agree though the weather was a bit naff, just wouldn’t make its mind up all day.
A sense of time was lost on me.
Don’t drink kids, its not big and not clever 😀
I’m now waiting, I got a refund after delay upon delay.
Looking at airlines.net (search google for airline 6.2) there are a hideous number of errors so I will hang back until I see whether this company actually survives!
Great shots.
I was playing hockey all weekend just down the road in Bowdon and watched all of the Manchester departures whizz over my head :D.
What variant was the PIA 777. I was trying to work it out at the time but:
1.) I was hungover
2.) I was on my way to being drunk again
3.) I was suffering in the heat/lack of water
4.) I was supposedly meant to be playing hockey.
It had raked wingtips, thats all I noticed.
To be honest the aerial shots by same photographer, same place, same style get a little bit dull in the end. It’s nice to experiment once in a while no?
Besides thats not photo of the year, it’s not one of mine 😀

Bring back that livery for it…niiiiice!
Silly us for considering it.
Using the 330 MRTT was too good an idea 😉
