I remember reading an article about this not so long ago, with much more detail, in one of the British monthly aviation magazines, perhaps it was even Flypast . . .?
Thanks, Sonnenflieger, I’ve kept a low profile lately due to pressure of work – and one result of my CPH visit was a request by my client there to double my workload!
Regarding the ladder, it must have been in use for something other than ice inspection – it had been a very warm clear sunny day, as beautiful as only Scandinavia can be in spring!

Ren, I rarely visit Landvetter (the main Gothenburg airport) these days, so I can’t really judge the level of movements there, some of the other posters on this Forum seem to have detailed access to airport movements on-line, better seek their advice!
The other airport, which I use for Ryanair, at Säve sees I think 4 commercial movements per day – all Ryanair – not much for a spotter!
I shall be travelling from Säve myself on May 6 to Prestwick, being picked up there to visit a friend on the Isle of Arran. Not worth any kind of trip report, though, fight my way on, read a newspaper, get off and out of the airport as quickly as possible! If however there is anything interesting (aircraft, that is) at Prestwick to photograph, where is the best vantage point (if any)?

Thanks Matthew, I like the Air Greenland one myself!
I thought perhaps for inspecting the speed brakes or flap mechanism? Anyway, it pushed back and flew off shortly afterwards, so there can’t have been much wrong!

tenthije, everybody in Sweden goes to bed early (except me!)
My colleagues at work in Volvo start at 0700 (but I’m a freelance so I seldom get there before 10!)
At least I arrived in Gothenburg hours before the train did!

Great news, Tim! Congratulations to all concerned!
Yes, Geoff, that’s the book, although all the pix in it are black and white.
Sorry about the late reply, got stranded in Copenhagen today (missed the one and only train this evening) and had to fly back SAS. Must the the most expensive journey in Europe! 200 quid for 300 miles! At least I got some pix to put on the Commercial Forum!
Hi Kilvy, aren’t you supposed to be on the stepladder (last pic), instead of photographing it?
I always thought TDY was temporary duty!
I would guess it is G-EBMY, c/n 238, finally broken up in 1933.
