Hunter pairs
Pleanty of multiple Hunter photos in the Barry Jones book, such as this one on page 56 . . .
Another possible clue:
On March 30, 1929, Imperial Airways flew its first flight from Britain to India using a de Havilland Hercules.
Looks like a DH 66 Hercules – still checking!
A-series Liberator serials in the RAF were:
Liberator Mk II (B-24C): AL503-667
LB-30A: AM258-263
Liberator Mk I (B-24): AM910-929

Many thanks, Allen, I have managed to watch it now, very nostalgic, especially the Viscount which recalls memories of a flight in one up to what was then Abbotsinch (which is now???) from East Midlands way back around 1977!
Keep up the good work!
Peter

Good luck, Steve, wish I was going with you . . . but you may well have bitten off more than you can chew!
Swedish helicopter miscellany
Thanks, PilotDKH, here are a few others I have taken in and around Gothenburg, all from 2002.
The German one was filming the Volvo Ocean Race, you can perhaps see how many boats were there, several thousand, according to the newspapers!
And here’s the other one.
All those weeks learning Photoshop paid off!
What about museums that ban both flash and tripods? I however have a unipod, and so far haven’t been banned from using it.
Thank you very much, it seems I will have to check out charters as well! They are in the daily papers here. I have used Ryanair many times and agree that it is best avoided if possible! I would never trust them if I had an onward connection at Gatwick or Heathrow same day, although I have done it before with an overnight stay at Gatwick when flying to the USA.
Where is MXP?
Otherwise the Air France option seems the best, from Landvetter.
Soory to clog up the Forum with all this, but I find googling among the airline sites a nightmare!

Halifax3, how about this slight modification?
Looks just like a Photoshop slip-up!
