Hi All,
Despite my telling off wishing you and your Family’s a :- :eagerness: MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR :eagerness:

Geoff.
Hi All,
Getting an official warning from the MODS on this forum for posting what was to all tense and purpose a seasonal goodwill gesture in all the forum categories, just trying to cheer a fellow forumite who will be spending their 1st Christmas alone. I agree posting the same thread is not warranted as it makes no sense! none the less it was for maximum effect to ask other forumites to send a Christmas wish to a fellow forumite who has had a rather bad run of luck this year, the final straw being the loss of a beloved pet dog and will be on their own Christmas Day to top that off.
I just hope that none of those who deemed my innocent transgression of breaking forum rules have to ever go through similar circumstances as what our fellow formite has gone through, to loose a pet so close to this time of year is bad enough for anyone then to be lonely is just unthinkable and heartbreaking.
It’s quite odd though really as last year I did the same action posting in all categories by wishing all forumites a Happy Christmas and Happy New Year and as far as I can remember I never received an official rebuke
Geoff. 🙁

Hi All,
erickmunk,
Excellent video grab a bit thought provoking from Time: 10:05 to 10:10, if the map correctly shows the 18 aircraft that went down, the men lost in just that one area of land shown on the map is just unimaginable and sad to think of those they left behind multiplies that number by a fair deal.
Just that one area of land scale it up to all all those lives lost not just on our side but all sides of the conflict and makes you ask if it was all worth it looking at the world we live in these days so sad. On a happier note they did locate the missing Sgt. Keogh’s after all these years and I suppose that is the positive side that should be the taken from this story here the final chapter that has been waiting for the relatives of Sgt. Keogh’s can now be closed. Well done to all involved in the recovery and discovery of Sgt. Keogh may he rest in peace now.
Geoff.
Hi All,
Doing some ground work at the top Burton Dasset Hills many years ago and a Jaguar came screaming past my position, because of my elevation he seemed like feet away, but as he banked as he rounded the peak where I was working I swear he waved :stupid: anyway as he banked I could clearly see inside the cockpit best sight and sound and a memory I will never forget. :love-struck:
Peter,
Excellent video those crazy French pilots again . :stupid: :highly_amused:
