Hi All,
To a famous plane that flew under Sydney bridge Q for Queenie 22nd of this month will be the 74th anniversary.
On this day, Lancaster B111 ED930 (“Q for Queenie”), with the RAAF tail number A66-1, made an unauthorised flight under the Sydney Harbour Bridge while on a public relations tour. Originally sent to Australia as a prototype for local production (which did not eventuate), the aircraft was used after its arrival in June 1943 to promote sales of war savings bonds around Australia. “Queenie” arrived at Richmond on 20 October in preparation for carrying out a series of exhibition flights over Sydney. During one of these sorties the crew, captained by Flight Lieutenant Peter Isaacson, decided to ‘buzz’ the building housing the headquarters of RAAF Eastern Area at Edgecliff, on Double Bay, before taking A66-1 beneath the harbour bridge—in defiance of a 1931 regulation banning such flights. The Lancaster was not the first aircraft (nor even the last) to break this prohibition, but it was the largest.

Hi All,
I think it’s an excellent post a lot of what is written is privately thought but never uttered by the majority instead most just trudge along not saying anything and those that do get labelled as Trouble causers/Anarchists/Activists etc.etc. You will always have two apposing sides to any argument the problem comes with those who employ other means to make their own point more prominent than the other side.
I would say the vast majority of what was written is how we have all felt at one time or another, it is obviously from a person who has just got fed up with everything that He/She has witnessed through their lifetime. Like most things everybody has an opinion on and like most opinions they are all different it is just how they are feeling nothing more nothing less, at least this person has the b0110cks to speak their mind which is more than can be said for the majority as if we all spoke our mind this country would not be in a mess and people like this person would never have aired their views in such a way.

Hi All,
Hackers are usually fishing for personal details and bank details, quite a few I would think that have given them for direct debit for the magazine’s delivery.
