Hi All,
Initially I never liked the F35 but it is slowly growing on me from some angles, but I really preferred the X32 design of the two contenders.

I just think it was a natural successor to the Harrier and I can bet it wouldn’t have cost half as much as the current F35 in its various incarnations but I did think at one point Britain would have built this as a successor to the Harrier this before we got involved with the JSF.

brewerybod pass on my congratulations to all the team involved in an excellent restoration, all you need now is ‘ Michael Rondot ‘ to give you a promotional painting and issue prints, signed by the Aircrafts crew who flew her through her service life if that’s possible it’s good way to make cash for the engines.

Many thanks for all the photos taken PP your shots of the Sally B and the Dove with Hornet Moth Excellent and DCW what can you say about the Blenheim just glad to see that after all the trauma it is nearly ready again,3rd time lucky fingers crossed but many thanks again for the memories of the other two incarnations. Keep up the good work for us non attending forumites.:eagerness:

Hi All,
Can someone tell me why all the Horizontal less design put forward for the ATF why they decided to include them in the final design ? As it seems the ATF design that was forwarded in may books and articles it morphed from what I personally thought was a nice sleek design to what we have now please ?
Below is the ATF design I liked Also here are some designs for the evolution of the F-22 and what we should have replaced the Harrier with.

Never contacted you till the get well thread started and sent you the ‘ Hattie Jakes ‘ picture, anyway looks like you have been a good boy so no rectal thermometer reading for you :highly_amused: From one sick person to another you will pull through it no matter how long it takes you have to believe in that,with the support of all your friends and Family you’ll be back to your old self in no time. Weather that’s a good thing or not those who know you best will either love it or dread it :highly_amused: anyway just concentrate on recuperating and keep taking the tablets.

Hi All,
If the proposed Stealth aircraft the Iranian media was touting, If they can’t build it why not ask the Russians to build it or a one off partnership ? they may pull it off as a rock bottom entry level Stealth aircraft ?

Hi All,
I remember seeing a documentary about breaking the sound barrier and although the X-1 broke it , it was a British Idea of a movable horizontal tail-plane from the designer of the M-52 that made it all possible and the U.S. only got the design because of the lack of government support and pressure to help the U.S. out with their project this all came from the designers lips in the documentary.
