Thanks Etienne for the article great read all veterans such as Mr Donnet are truly inspirational what I cannot understand is why more aren’t taught about at schools
weather it’s the Pc brigade or just considered uninteresting I don’t know but in my mind if all where taught they would have a more balanced approach to life and more respect for each other through their own life but Mr Donnet’s story just shows what can be achieved despite how bad your circumstances are and should be a lesson for all to follow in his footsteps.

mustangboy it is the same Mustang ‘Excalibur’ looks like it could be real trumper as if you Google P-51 Excalibur quite a few images are available but I am trying to find contact info so will e-mail the owner ?. Now owned and flown in the Czech Rep.

Can I take it the single door and the rear engine nozzle means they cannot do as the Harrier was capable of viffing pilots called it (Correct me if am wrong please) the whole transition from Horizontal to Vertical flight seems to prolonged to me as with the Harrier it was very fluent. But I agree with Clanwarrior about the the change .
