Hi All, Bill 2015 (Via BBCi Available until 22/08) Quite amusing film that at times is very pythonesque IMPO, along with a couple of rather famous actor cameos it is mainly the talents of the group of actors behind children’s TV series Horrible Histories and Yonderland. I like this type of theatre with the same actors playing different characters with a few modern references and a few funny end credit scenes relating to the film…:D

I agree with Canopener Al, All I can add is the fatalities are what should be concentrated on and not forgetting the family and friends directly linked to
those who perished in this most tragic of all unexpected circumstances, RIP All.

Free State Of Jones 2016 (Via BBCi Available until 28/08) Although not considered a box office hit because it barely made half the budget spent
on it’s making, I really enjoyed this historical drama based on the true story of Newton Knight who led a rebellion against the confederates, the film
includes flashes of his Great Grandson who has problems of his own in 1948 trying to marry his long term girlfriend because of his mixed race ancestry…….:cool:

Hi All, Imperium 2016 (Via BBCi Available until 4th Sept) ( WARNING – Not to everyone’s taste ) I was expecting a bit more from the film as
being based on fact I imagined it would show both the good and bad facts not just glimmers leaving the viewer to they’re imagination. The film never
really shows the true nature and violence that go hand in hand at times with extreme far right groups and they’re ideology, Apart from that gripe not a
bad drama all told, the film gets you into the undercover operation that Daniel Radcliffe’s character gets involved with……:eagerness:

Wonder Woman 2017 (Via SKY Cinema) I really enjoyed this Fantasy/Sci-Fi although not a big fan even of the Linda Carter version (Yes I did watch
the Tv series :dev2:) Only two gripes really most of the CGI was good but a couple of times they dropped the ball.
Also although Gal Gadot hit the mark spot on. One question:- Why did they not employ young French girl actress as the younger wonder woman growing
from toddler to woman ? I say this only because you have to be tone deaf not to hear Gal Godet’s strong French accent, the child actor who played the
young wonder woman had clearly had English as her 1st language…..:eek:

Thanks for the post Paul..:eagerness: I really hope they can locate the Grumman Duck and crew, as with all those who locate lost aircraft with crew it means
so much to the families of the airmen who where listed MIA and gives closure to part of they’re family history.
As for them locating a second P-38 I am sure that as search equipment improves they will eventually be able to locate all the missing lost flight aircraft as with anything it’s the cost of retrieval and the willingness of many to persevere no matter how many hoops they may have to jump through or overcome
problems that inevitably happen when recovering anything so good luck to all the team as far as I am concerned.
Hi All, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women 2017 (Via SKY Cinema) I downloaded this thinking it would be interesting background story behind the
creation of the Wonder Woman franchise (The film which I intend to watch next)
I never expected as it turns out that the most famous female super hero character actually got her start from a professor, his wife and they’re lover who
all lived together during a fantasy that he and they got into that gave him the idea of the Super Hero character, incidentally they are also credited with
inventing the polygraph machine.
I enjoyed the film as it was the right balance that showed the relationship both good and bad between all three that eventually lead up to the creation of
Wonder Woman. Just a good drama all told but I will say not for everybody……;)

What will happen to XL623 ? I mean considering how long it’s been up there what would it actually take to restore her to museum standard ? or will it be just a cosmetic clean up for the next owner ? Still I hope it will go to a worthy home who can bring the Hunter back to her original look.
Nothing to do with the OP but the Elfin Safety we just upgraded to SKYQ, original installation day an engineer came out took one look at where the dish
was already situated took pictures informed us that it needed a special access team to do the job so off he trot.
Today engineer turns up informs us his partner stuck on another job so he starts on his lonesome, I am not kissing when I say he would have done the
mountain rescue proud with his gear on top of that he had to drill four securing points for his ladders to be permanently attached to the house while he did
his work.
I do get why he has all this equipment with elf’n’safety but even the original engineer said he could do the job but elfin regs is what stopped him and he
had to call the SKY SAS team out, he even told us that they have to do the same with permanent caravans and if they can’t then no SKYQ….:rolleyes:
