My next door neighbour told me his mate served on a carrier during WW2 in the far east and they dumped excess crated aircraft and engines into Trincomalee harbour after the war. The furthest I got with enquiries was with a dive group who said they were probably deeper than his company
dive but to be honest he knew nothing of any aircraft wrecks that I described.. .:confused:
I imagine the biggest problem with all these legends/Stories etc is proof ? pictures are one thing but peoples memories years after the event of whatever
are a little sketchy as Mr Cundall could be experiencing, I wish all these latter day Indiana Jonese’s well as If they are successful everybody benefits…:cool:

Simple idea here really teach kids to respect their elders from an early age, teach kids about war in particular about the monuments erected to these brave
people, not wrap everything in cotton wool like they do with just brief mentions of all wars. Every single year should be taught then by the time they leave
school it is crammed in their heads, dare I say even have remembrance day memorial service both before and after remembrance Sunday in schools ?
My view is if you implant the ideas at an early age all through school life the chances are they will be more respectful as more often than not a member of their
own family has served in a conflict through the ages..:(

Daz if you haven’t already I recommend what I watched last night ’10 Cloverfield Lane’ I thought it was a great addition to the original ‘Cloverfield’ a side
step rather than a true sequel, showing one event happening elsewhere in the same time period with a good ending that sets up for the sequel to both
films. The film for the most just relies on the acting skills of the cast members while in the bunker and really is a credit to the maker although there
is one obvious continuity error watch it and see if you an spot it in the last third of the film even with that error still watchable IMHO…:cool:
I would suggest those who have not seen the original ‘Cloverfield’ film do so first as this will make more sense of the above film…..;)

Daz – He has a new Sci-Fi coming out called Life looks quite good from the trailer, having said that they either make the mistake of giving the whole story or just the best moments these days but would still be interested when it becomes available on Sky…:cool:
Right then back on track I watched the low budget British Horror ‘The Borderlands’ via BBCi ( Available until 08/04 ) Not to bad considering the small cast but just an average horror with one very upsetting scene in that made me wince good ending though….;)

I watched the kids animation film ‘Angry Birds’ via (Sky Cinema) I found it quite funny in places as adults can relate to some jokes that kids wouldn’t get, just a good take your brain out and watch film (In my case not that difficult)……:D

Last night I watched the Biopic film They Flew Alone ( Via BBCi available until 25/03 ) the Amy Johnston story but also dedicated to others early fliers of her ilk and the ATA. Not to bad of it’s time really the only real noticeable problem was Amy Johnsons Yorkshire accent seemed to keep changing through out the film from really thick Ee-by-gum to Buck house posh..:stupid:

The only trouble is with Myrath is their album are quite pricey but they only have five with the last being a 2016 release so plenty of time to get them.
Loved the clash cover by Rachid Taha and Johnny Cash but not to keen on Sade and Plan B if I am totally honest but do give most music a listen to
I can either like them o lump them across the musical spectrum…;)
Here’s another find from a couple of years ago love the Celtic Metal crossover have nearly all their albums just three to complete the collection and their
next release next year sometime I believe…:cool:
Here’s another group I like have yet to buy one of their albums though but just great music and this video is quite telling IMHO although more about US veterans and how they are treated you could easily pick any countries veterans and put in their place but in particular the UK’s veterans IMO…:cool:

Last Night I watched another low budget film ‘Paloma Road’ not to shabby as it happens, a Rd trip film with a difference spectacular scenery while on
the road, the film relies on the ability of the actors to carry the film just a good watchable film with no special effects the only negative would be it drags a
couple of times apart from that take it or leave it….;)
