Watched Batman vs Superman (Ultimate Edition) and well worth the wait IMHO, the extra 28mins of extra footage sets the film plot a lot better than the
cinematic version that was released and the addition of Wonder Woman makes sense with a host of other extra scenes that help the plot along. If you
haven’t seen the cinematic film I would say do not bother go for the Ultimate edition instead at 2Hrs48min long it is far better experience and sets
up the up coming Justice League in which Batman/Superman and Wonder Woman appear together just right……:cool:

Watched the very underrated IMO ‘Jupiter Ascending’ the heavily laden special effects Sci-Fi/Fantasy film works, the first 52mins flypast then a very flat
period to pick up again after 20mins or so. I can only think this film was panned by most critics for the flat bit in the 2nd act a very odd moment involving
the princess character having to do the paperwork to legitimise her royal blood line that takes to much time and doesn’t suit the film at all IMO.
The flat period just stopped the flow of the film like a person tripping over their feet and falling to the floor, before dragging itself back up with a third act
that is just as good as the 1st act IMHO, it is one of ‘Sean Beans’ rare films where his character survives the film 😀 There are actually quite a few
recognisable actors in this film from UK tv screen Apparently there are plans for a sequel but because the 1st film was not a great success only making
$8 million profit the budget will not be as big. As always viewers choice an while I liked the film others may not but I recommend any Sci-Fi/Fantasist fan
should enjoy the film.:cool:

Watched via (Sky Cinema) the low budget Sci-Fi/Drama ‘Into The Forest’ aimed more at a young adult audience really but none the less not to bad as it shows what could happen if the electricity suddenly went off and you had to survive on your own wits as a Drama it’s good but as a Sci-Fi not so but watchable just the same, no special effects just down to the actors showing their skill……:)

Watched the better of all the follow up movies to the original IMO Jurassic World via (Sky Cinema) An excellent piece of escapism for a couple of hours, the CGI is seamless and looks the part and gives the film the edge of the previous two sequels, looking forward to the next chapter they are allegedly planning for this film……:cool:

I watched the excellent biopic about an Indian math genius Srinivasa Ramanujan via (Sky Cinema) I well recommend this to any biopic fan in particular or
a drama fan for that matter. Great acting from all the cast and the story plays out well from beginning to end….:cool:

Finally got around to watching the Mad Max reboot (Sky Cinema) a good watchable film that stands alone from the previous three that starred Mel Gibson I must admit though these will always be my favourites well 1 & 2 anyway :rolleyes: The film is another fast paced action film that although quite long passes quite quickly and can easily be watched again, only one personal negative is I am not a big fan of the jerky sped up scenes apart from that enjoyed it thoroughly and I am looking forward to the next in the rebooted franchise………:cool:

Last night I watched via (Sky Cinema) another low budget Sci-Fi/Drama Narcopolis a drugs and time travel film featuring recognisable British actors.
Although not a lot of action and just a smidgen of CGI it is watchable be warned pretty flat and a bit confusing at times for the first 1hr, after
that it starts to make more sense with a good twist at the end, I actually quite enjoyed the film which is set in the not to distant future in England..:eagerness:
