Don Quixote is a masterpiece of world fiction, a brilliant satire on traditional romances and an uproarious comedy and a prose-epic in a new genre for its time. Widely regarded as the world’s first modern novel, and one of the funniest and most tragic books ever written, Don Quixote chronicles the famous picaresque adventures of the noble knight-errant Don Quixote de La Mancha and his faithful squire, Sancho Panza.

Don Quixote’s mount is an old, bedraggled horse named Rocinante on which he travels through sixteenth-century Spain in search of adventure, dedicating his actions of valour to a simple country girl whom he calls Dulcinea, seeing her as his lady. Watched ‘Wolf Creek 2’ via the (Horror Channel-Sky) much better than the first one (Obviously a bigger budget) great beginning then slows a bit concentrating on the German victims, then it all kicks off again even a little bit of (‘Steven Spielberg’s -Duel) in the film but on the whole very watchable right to the end…..:eagerness: Don’t forget Wolf Creek the tv series starts tonight on FOX at 10.00pm via Sky

“Wolf Creek 2” isn’t much different than “Wolf Creek,” but it is markedly worse. In the Australian-set slasher sequel, writer/director Greg McLean’s focus shifts from clueless tourists to outback baddy Mick Taylor (John Jarratt), the original film’s hickish serial-killer antagonist. In an introductory, pre-credits scene, McLean re-introduces us to Mick. He’s a hateful parody of the chauvinism inherent in Paul Hogan’s Crocodile Dundee character (also named Mick). After being threatened with a ticket, he blows out a young policeman’s brains, then guts, and burns alive an older cop. This initial scene is effectively gross because McLean (“Wolf Creek,” “Rogue”) knows how to build suspense visually. He’s a technically accomplished storyteller. About your comment that’s been on the cards since we voted out, the only problem is the French have created the problem in the first place by waving the immigrants through both illegal and legal instead of turning them back on their borders in the first place. To claim asylum your are meant to claim it at the first EU country you come to, but the majority just want the UK and thus are let through to travel from south and south east France up to Calais etc.etc,

We ended up with first Sangatte only to be replaced by Calais jungle and when that is knocked down eventually they will end up somewhere else to turn the land into a ****hole like they have everywhere they go. I have every sympathy for the Refugees/Asylum seekers and Legal migrants who do it through the proper channels, but none at all for those who just force their way into countries preventing those who are already legally entitled through the system to go to the back of the queue essentially….:(

Watched a real good Canadian tourist board film called ‘The Frankenstein Theory’ absolute garbage nuff said….:( What could have been a good film was ruined by the drawn out story about the film crew following a scientist on his quest for ‘Frankenstein’ who only makes an appearance at the very end not recommended but hey just try and watch it your self.

Daz, You really are into some classic stuff matey AAWIL closely followed by The Howling 2nd two well made horrors especially AAWIL the soundtrack the specific scene of the first transformation excellent and the film still holds it’s own today where as some of it’s successors have fallen by the wayside…:cool:

I tried to watch via (Sky Cinema) the found footage film ‘The Rendelsham UFO Incident’ (A retitled Hanger 10) could only stomach 40mins of it absolute pants. :apologetic: If you want to watch three people prancing around with hand held cameras and really bad CGI (That alone should have sent alarm bells ringing) then give it a shot but it really relies on the story of the real incident and looked to be copying what some of the actual event reports stated rather than a new story of a second event occuring as this was advertised as 0/10.

Anyway back to last night I watched a funny at times UK crime caper that is actually based on true events from the 70’s and well recommended especially
for ‘Jason Statham’ fans well worth a viewing IMHO…..:applause:

I watched ‘Red 2’ recorded via (Film4) just as funny as the first film especially the car chase in ‘Paris’ and a good scrap ‘Byung-hun’ and a few coppers in a ‘Moscow’ shop, well worth a watch just keeps going from start to finish and one of those films easily watchable again..:eagerness:
