I was also impressed with the sensitive way the Dutch authorities handled the subject of remains being shown etc It was obvious they took the task seriously and with respect to the families.
I also liked the way Guy Martin very much kept to the “I’ve come along to observe” mentality rather than trying to claim they had been a big cog in the team as the title might have given impressions of.

Electric power is already a hot topic in the vintage car world with a fair few cars having been converted in recent years to make them “future ready”. With the lack of fuels and oils becoming an increasingly big issue for operators it must be tempting
It is sad to see this project wound up as pre covid they were making some progress on her. Big transport aircraft sadly aren’t seen as sexy even though they are the same vintage as many prised aircraft types (Just ask the guys at Cov when they wound up Classic flight).

In a year that was meant to be one of doom with less and less money free to spend it is nice to have seen a fairly stable season with some nice gems ready to tempt people for next year.

I know Terry wanted to build one for the museum after they finished the Rapide but that was a few years back now.
Such fantastic aircraft to have survived 😀 So hope it get to NZ one day and sample the delights.
