    RE: Another PLO victory

I dont think the latest attack were part of PLO master evil plan.No doubt that PLO is no saint but to derail an important plan to ceate a Palestinian state (to be announced by Mr Bush )-is too foolish .Anyway who going to gained the most milage in this incident????Now that the US is thinking twice and Israeli is oppossing the plan permanently-no one in the right state of mind you miss a chance for a US support just to kill busload of isrealis. It is easy for us to point fingers-but the reality on the ground is totally different.I hope someones from Palestinian/Jordanian could shed some light on this issue.I dont want to joined the bandwagon-just because all this while most of the world comm.-SEE THAT PALESTININAN ARE TERRRORIST AND NOT FREEDOM FIGHTER.Any backlash from this statements -welcome.

RE: Boy, this will cause me a lot of problems …

War on terror -for sure will increase Mr Bush chance to be re-elected for the second terms.Try to imagine if the 911 attack -managed to be stopped.Mr Bush wont be as important as he is now.A lot major defence contract would not get the go ahead,US troops wont be able to be base in variuos strategic places,no chance in hell to do a personal vendetta on behalf of his father.Saddam beware.:+ :+ :+

RE: Thank you note for Belgians.

I would be proud if my nation can produced weapons that may have saved 1000s of lives. Most of the FN HERSTAL guns were used by the armed forces/police-with the exception of the old HP ,the rest is a bit to expensive for the bandits. They would prefer the cheaper AKs /M16s anydays.Half of the UN peacekeepers used Belgian made guns-as i said before,a very good know how for such a small nation.Beside -you guys are not producing nukes/weapons of mass destruction/tanks /fighters or something like that.Even the proud US forces -changing their home made weapons for a Belgian ones.(M249,latest being M240 which is based on the trusted GPMG):-)

    RE: Please be honest.

Malaysia is a very unique country if we look from the govermental point of view.YES Malaysia is a very much democratic country. But ofcourse the level of freedom you got not as much as those in the US/EU.Still most Malaysian are very happy to live here cause we are the most ‘liberal’nation in the region yet can achieved an economic wonders.Thailand eg-has a very strong control over the media or the monarch. You cannot simply write anything about the monarch/govt-THE ECONOMIST- magazine being the latest to faced Thai govt action the wrote something on the govt alleged corruption.Singapore has the most tight control on media in the region. There is virtually no oppossition voice in the parliment.Their sole opp.leaders has been put under variuos pressures by the govt.Indonesia and Philipine should be on the upper scale-in terms of democracy BUT they are the one of the poorest nation in the region. What is the point in having a western style democracy-if that same democracy cannot put food in your mouth? In Malaysia we do have a general election once in every 5 years and 2 states presently govern by the oppossition parties. For me that is more than democracy. It just that Malaysia safeguard its military might info seriuosly.Thats all.

    RE: Good luck buddy

Well im still around -and will keep on posting related stuffs in order to widen our knowledge in military affairs. For the record since the last ten years app 10 military/ex military officers detained under the ISA/Emergency ordinance/OSA (not politicly motivated)-due to sensitive in nature offences.

    RE: Tracing net connections

Well thanks for the info /feedbacks guys-just to let you guys know that -Malaysia do not exercised censorship on the internet, but any sensitive material must not be discuss outside the relevant circle. If i may ask-when was the last time you noticed any details about MAF latest development being posted by a Malaysian?I do not have any attention -to get extra attention(sorry if some of you feel that way).I just do not want to leave the forum without saying goodbye. That wouldn’t be nice-by posting this message-at least you guys knows what might have happen to me.Today MINDEF issued an official statements regarding the need for the MAF to safeguard their information-with the help of new software .It seems hacking into the MINDEF site has been done before by certain parties(i ‘m not involved).
I loved my country-but here in Malaysia the situation is not the same as most other western nation.Singapore,Indonesia,Thailand -no exception-no body from this country ever posted anything about their AF -eventhough they visit this forum as a guest.
By the way -the feds here do not use black sedan with tinted glass nor do they wearing a sombre two piece suit. They could be your bus driver, postman, cable tv guy, fishmonger, hell they could even be the hot chick you met at the bar last night.

    RE: Stupidity

Never been recorded -indonesian terrorist groups targeting Australia. The recently uncovered JEMAAH ISLAMIYAH which has connection both in Malaysia/Singapore do not planned to attack any Aussie interest.Their goal is to created DAULAH ISLAMIYAH(An islamic hard core nation comprising Indonesia,Malaysia,Singapore,Brunei, part of Southtern Thailand and Southern Philipines).Try to imagine the newly created country military power-even the US would think twice before launch another Enduring Freedom II.Only the US interest in Indonesia were been targeted. In Malaysia-after 9/11-Malaysian police gaves extra protection to the UK/US embassy compound-Australia embassy-i do not noticed any paramilitary police units armed with M16/MP5 based there on a daily basis.
