Incredible!
Thats really sad news 🙁

I think they normally arrive anywhere between 6am and 7:30am.. the odd occasion I have known them to arrive at 8:30am but I think this is due to a delay.
No problem 🙂 They’ve worked like this for years and I grew up by heathrow for most of my life so got to know the way things worked. 🙂
They arrive early morning, spend the day over at the BMI and BA hangars, then move back to the terminal later in the day to board passengers and fly back to SA.
Now thats strange, same with me, perhaps they are like all our SMITHS. 😉
Lincoln. 7
haha Possibly 😉

We can’t even keep the customer support centres in this country any longer – employ “Gary”, “Bob” or “David” in Bangalore or Mumbai to answer your questions or solve your problems, and you get someone with a degree wiling to work for a daily Tiffin box ……
Crazy……
Very true. Its always ‘John’ with an indian accent that always calls my house.

So whats that livery all about then?
Nice shot 🙂
maybe some of the newer ones will find their way to Thomas Cook, when i flew on one of their 300 series recently, the pilot seemed to oversell the virtues of the TC 757-300, to the poor 280 souls CRAMMED in behind him, it was not so wonderful 😀
All BA B757’s are going to FedEx as far as im aware.
The B757 is a good plane!
Why was that at EGSS?
Nice photos.
Im really going to miss them. I remember as a youngster living near heathrow and seeing B757’s constantly coming in. I believe G-CPET is planned to be the last one to go.
One of my old flying instructors (now my mothers boyfriend) used to fly the B757 with BA and he was disappointed to hear they are being retired.
Nice!
I thought the aero logic B777 only visited during the night!
Nice catch.
